So heres my final and favourite project of first year. It was a 'self directed' project so we got to choose what we did and manage our projects completely by ourselfs. I chose to do 'the Beach' as I absolutely love everything about it. The way a footprint is left by a stranger; the way waves come crashing down; the sounds of the water, people and air around me; the smell of the sea air - i cant imagine life without the beach.
my initial research was done on the beach, doing quick drawings, and taking far too many photos :P ! i focused on the movement of the waves, and the textures and colours which are the beach.
