Not only am I working on my uni project and collaborations but I am designing costumes and wardrobe mistress-ing for a feature film ‘The Hypnotist’.

…I may have slightly taken over the living room during some of the designing process …

Caving In Works

I caved in and made the fringing into a dress … it needs neating up obviously but this is it so far … I’ve made more fringing for the shorts tomorrow

Worked more on the costume from yesterday - its still not perfect but I am much happier with it now ...it is more bird like and the fabrics are working better together ... I am still unsure of the tulle at the front so that may go before the shoot on friday

When Things Don't Work

Today I have been working on the dress for the collaboration with Danni (http://hellorondez.tumblr.com/) and Clare (http://clare-fisher.co.uk/) … I really do not like it how it looks at the moment so will work on it again tomorrow, I just feel like it doesn't quite work altogether...the idea was that birds are made of different feathers and in white birds they are not all the same white coloured feathers which make it white ... hmm will work on it tomorrow

The fringing will eventually be turned into shorts for the male model ... although I quite like it in dress form too ...?
